Classes are FINALLY over! (no friday class rox ^^) now I just have finals to study for and then NO SCHOOL FOR A WHOLE MONTH!!!! yay ^^ time to go home and harass meh kittehs!!!!! and I'll get some drawing done too I hope ^^

So.... last night at anime club....we watched Paprika.

I had no idea just how literal they were being when they described it as mind rape
lol it was so good though~ I highly recommend it!!

AUSA is coming up soon *so excited* Anyway, Nekocon kind of took it out of me XD so I won't be cosplaying quite as much as I would have liked. I'm still planning on wearing Amulet Spade for maybe a few hours but besides that...lol.

Yeah, so I've been pretty much dead on here sorry >_> Ive been studying my rear off. Unfortunately I don't have much to show for it. Chemistry is completely and totally pwning me. I finally gave in and signed up for a tutor. Biology is going better than it was.... I've been attending study groups with the teacher, and last time (cause there was only 4 of us, go figure) we got to help her create about 1/4 of the test! That was a big "yay!" moment ^^

The two classes that "should" have been easy are also hard XD. Classiscs.... I am so behind on that. We have this paper due in two weeks, and I don't really even know what I'm writing on it yet. The text is confusing. period. And seminar... well that's just a mental battle lol. but it's fun so whatever. We actually got talking about art in Classics, the teacher has set aside like, three class periods to discuss it! It's like: can I write my paper on that instead of Thucydides? pleeeeease?

Speaking of art, I have been working on one drawing..... it's just that I haven't had the time to properly sit down and finish it. It will be colored with copics though

And lastly, this has been on You Tube for a while... but I managed to post a tour of the dorm! and I do plan on filling out that room meme thing.... sometime lol. actually that reminds me I still need to finish that one meme I started almost a year ago... whoops XD

Two more days and I will be moving in to my new home for the next year! Kinda looking forward to it ^^ Both of my room mates seem nice (I'm in a permanent triple) and I think it will be a great year. I'll probably need to learn how to sleep on a bunk though.... I just keep repeating to myself that the whole falling thing is only psychological. If you don't fall of your normal bed, then why would you fall off of a bunk!! Yeah...

My schedule is pretty nice too. I'm taking Bio with Lab, Chem with Lab, Classics, and a First Year Seminar on Mysteries in History ^^ not overly challenging so it should be ok. The only bad part is that my Bio Lab ends at 10:00 PM one night of the week... it'll be dark then and my dorm is at the other end of campus in wooded area >< scary!!!

My last work day was this past Friday.... It was so sad, I kind of started crying in the car leaving the parking lot T_T. Why you ask? It definitely sounds weird to be sad over not working anymore, but that place seriously holds a part of my heart... I hope I can come back and work more next summer!! LOL one of my supervisors was joking that I was going off to this weird place called college for this foreign concept known as higher education XD It was like, yeah.... that one way to put it!

Speaking of work, I made a ton of cash (in my opinion at least) ^^ most of which is going toward my education. However, I did set some aside and managed to buy a set of 72 Copics with it!! They are so gorgeous!!! I didn't really like how the painted on the Bristol I have though... so I ordered some marker paper that I'm still waiting on. Hopefully it will be here before I leave so that I can color stuff

Lastly, I really just need to say that PONYO is probably the cutest thing I have ever seen. Seriously, go watch it. The English really isn't bad at all! (if you don't include the remix of the ending done by the Jonas and Cyrus younger siblings... that one just didn't fit) Trust me you wont regret it. My sister and I were having a seriously hard time holding back squeeing fits it was so cute XD

Happy fourth (now the fifth XD) of July! I hope you all had a wonderful celebration The reason I didn't post any of this yesterday was because of travels, so sorry! We didn't get home from our 8 hour drive until 1:00 AM. It was painful D:

So, my GS troop returned from our cruise one week ago today!! We went to the Bahamas and Key west. Key west was better than the Bahamas lol. It was probably because of the Hemingway house (6 toed cats! around 45 of them I think?) and of course Robert the Doll who, to my dismay, we did not get visit TT.(If you don't know who he is go here: [link])

The cruise ship itself was nice. Lots of food and nice service. The people were awesome and so nice they even tried to learn your names!

The only downside was that the cabins were so small. I swear four people were not meant to live in such close quarters... It was hilarious when we got to our hotel on the return trip. There were only three of us who were sharing a room and we had a field day running from one wall to the other. "Look! We can actually turn around in the bathroom without hitting something!" and "Wow! I can lay down of the floor!" and so on XD

BTW. The drinking age in the Bahamas really is 10 O_o. We went to a bar called Senor Frogs and yeah... lets just say that there a sign out front of the mascot next to a height chart, and it said: "You must be this tall to drink"!

Yup, forget age! were going by the height!lol. yeah.... it was special.

AH! I found out yesterday that we might be temporarily getting a new dog!! His name is Coda and he is the cutest little terrier you ever did see Basically, he is my aunts dog, but hey are getting ready to move for work purposes and cannot take Coda with them. They don't want to give him away though because they will only be gone for two years.

Their original plan was to give him to my Grandmother, but she already has two dogs to care for and doesn't really want to take on a third. The current idea now is to see how Coda works out with Grandma first, and then maybe come to live with us later.

As some may know from a much earlier journal entry, my family lost our dog this January and I'm still quite depressed over her. However, every time I care for another persons dog or if someone brings their dog by our house, it's like my heart becomes just that much lighter. The house is just too empty without a hyper puppy to disrupt it ^^ So I really hope that Coda can come stay with us, even if its only a temporary measure.
